last week we tried Genghis Khan on Basel-St Louis border, it actually is a grill buffet; saw something like that first time e.g. every table has an electric plate to cook the meat (buffet), so you actually got to grill yourself.

There are hot and cold side dishes that go along; was OK did not like it much (but we were in a hurry too)

Xiao-Lu's, Elisabethanstrasse (Kirschegarten tramstop) is considered to be pretty good by some.

The best takeaway is on Hünigerstrasse (near the Novartis campus). Can't remember what it's called, but it's very good. I could be biased though - the chef is a friend of mine.

We went to the Lotus but did not like it at all, although i know a few that do. We really like the Hongkong. The add is Turnringer Str 207 Sparkassenplatz Lorrach. Its opening hours are 11.30-14.30 and from 18.00-23.00 7 days a week.

Yes, Lotus in Stetten, the one just across the border? Been there couple of times, and the food is good. Don't know about their sushi buffet, never tried it yet.
