| Jimmy's in Kreis 6 has very good pizza and a cosy atmosphere. The university crowd go there for lunch, but in the evening there are mostly locals. The owner is really friendly and as it is the pizzeria's 17th anniversary, most pizzas and pastas are 17 francs. | |

I agree, Jimmy's is a place I regularly go to for an ambient environment, decent pizza, and budget prices. We always get a table, regardless of group size, and sans reservation. Plus, the owner and I are now chums and he throws in the odd free bottle of Wine/Grappa, that never hurts.
But for a treat, I'd head to Cucina (
www.cucinarestaurant.ch) the best pizza I've had in Zurich. While this is a subjective comment, it beats Don Leone's, Santa Lucia, or Molino, hands down. Good service, nice wine, semi-chic, and very reasonable prices 18 - 30 Chfs for most entrées.
