That was the old Da vincis. If its closed it means that its either still being renovated or its a bit of a failure. Da vincis was always empty unless there was a party planned there.
Im sure i saw it open a few weeks ago but have just walked past and it looks it very never open/closed for good?
Anyone know as i was going to nip in for a swift half after work
Hey,
Went there the other night, it's a very nice place. The pour your own beer feature is pretty novel, and I've never seen it here in Geneva before. The pizza is top notch as well. I've been looking for a new place to go after work, I'll definitely come back.
The Key and Eagle just happens to be my cousin's second bar to open in Geneva and had its launch on December 1st. His first pub,'The Clubhouse' ( Rue Plantamour, www.theclubhouse.ch ) is going so well I think that he got an offer from a brewery to open a second. The Clubhouse food is great...massive portions. He gets live acts, stand up comedians, does quiz nights. I only ever get to Geneva on the odd occasion as I live in Bern but I would be in more often if I could. The Key and Eagle seems to be doing pizzas but I could ask him what the plan is. Iain grew up in Geneva, plays rugby for RC Nyon, so sports coverage always featured a lot at the Clubhouse, but not sure for the Key and Eagle..just thought I'd put in a personal word as I don't often get an opportunity like this...he's the only family I've got in CH so it's nice for me...proud even...so go try out his bar 'cos he's a lovely lad!!
