Can anyone recommend any French restaurants in Zurich?

I think Brasserie Schiller (combined with Goethe Bar) also does some French foods. It s on Theaterstrasse, right next to Tramstop Opernhaus.

I once went to Mere Catherine, at Nägelihof. It was decent.

You should try the Brasserie Lipp in Uraniastrasse.
It is a typical French brasserie.

You might want to be a bit more specific, as the influence of the likes of Escoffier made that almost every good restaurant (that does not specialise in the food from some distinct region) is heavily influenced by french cuisine.

Are you looking for special dishes, such as cassoulet (nom nom nom) andouillette (beurk) or for the french "bistrot" atmosphere.
