Anyone been to Yan Sushi & Wok in Schwamendingen?

I ask because I just got a flyer in my letterbox advertising a "Schlemmerbuffet", which I understand to be "All you can eat" for 39.90 on Fridays and Saturdays and even 29.90 und Thursdays and Sundays. In a city where you are lucky to get this kind of thing below 50 francs, with even that being cheap, I wonder if this place is any good. You know, I'm Swiss, so I'm thinking "if it's cheap, there must be a catch?". They advertise themselves as doing Japanese and Chinese food, maybe there is less of the Japanese stuff at the buffet?

The guestbook on their website is so full of gushing reviews, I'm just a little suspicious. Alternatively, we could be brave and do a joint EF review, although I worry us KFC and Sunday Roast munchers with their big appetites might put them out of business.

Looking forward to hearing any opinions.

I am also very interested in this restaurant, coming from the Netherlands where basically all the sushi restaurants are all-you-can-eat, I really miss this concept here!

I had a look at the gallery on their website and I can see sushi in their photos of the buffet but like I said - there must be a catch. If there isn't, when are we going?

I am on of the lucky ones who got the DEIN DEAL offer and look forwards to eating there soon.

This is YAn in Schwamendingen, the Yen place is somewhere else. But sounds nice too. A friend of mine told me on FB that he really liked the Chinese food at Yan's but never tried the buffet.

I am always up for some sushi (and Chinese food is also good)! Maybe we should give them a call and ask them what the catch is :P

Hmmm.... sushi. I'd like to know what the catch is too, if anything.

Re: Anyone been to Yan Sushi & Wok in Schwamendingen?

Went to this restaurant last year for their chinese new year event. The food was very good and it is the second best chinese restaurant that I have tried so far in Europe (the best one was in Düsseldorf) and the best one in the Zurich area so far. It is worth visiting it.
