Name of (new?) restaurant in Geneva

There's a restaurant...in Geneva...

It's located in a park/square-type setting in between the river and the old city.

It is a few stories high, with only a few tables at each level.

If I remember correctly, it's also a wine cellar. And there was a christmas tree there!

Looks romantic, like a perfect place to spend our 4th anniversary tonight

Anyone know the name????

And if you've been there, any personal reviews/comments?

Thanks!!!

If you're talking about somewhere between the LAKE and the Old Town you might mean Place de la Madelaine, or the place behind Interdiscount which counts as Rue Perron I think. I'm not in town today so can't physically look for you, but someone might be.... annoyingly the phone book lists restaurants by speciality, not location.
As it's Tuesday, I doubt it'll be full if you can find it again. So you could just try turning up!

Well it's somewhere near the shoreline where the lake turns into river. Whether it's beyond or before the main bridge, I can't quite remember.

edit: ok, just figured out that it's in place du molard

Trouble is there are quite a few little 'Place' along there. Any idea what type of restaurant it is? I still think you'll be able to get in on a Tuesday without any problems.
You've nudged me into booking somewhere myself for tomorrow, Le Thermomètre' on Rue Neuve-du-Molard. Their boeuf planca is wonderful!

Re: Name of (new?) restaurant in Geneva

I think it just opened recently. If my memory serves me well, it was a wine cellar, located in the tower on the northern part of the street.

We passed by in December and noted the name down somewhere, only to lose it very soon thereafter.

Here's a pic!

Okay, so apparently it's called La Tour du Molard, though I can't seem to find a website. Will call and reserve now.
