| Sometimes all you want is a long talk over a lovely cup of Kenyan tea with scones in a warm and cosy cafe. Don't tell the internet but my place of choice is Kafi Dihei on Zurlindenstrasse. British-Swiss owners and an Irish cook help with the sense of familiar. Ask for the clotted cream, as well as home made lemon curd. | |

| Do charity, for example in Bern the Inselspital accepts volunteers, for sure there is something similar in Zurich, you can volunteer only 4 hours a month, seeing others in bigger troubles makes you feel lucky and forget about your problems. | |

Amen. Focusing on others takes away the focus on ourselves, which is always good anyway.
Quick fix: Saturday breakfast at 1pm at Maison Blunt (try the oriental breakfast - CHF 20 and delicious, with feta puree, hummous, olives, gipfeli, jam, honey, butter, cucumber salad with mint and lemon, bread and focaccia at will, yoghurt with fresh fruits, and dried fruits).
Long-term fix: a volunteering trip. If you PM me, I can recommend you a couple of locations.
Cheers to your friend for finding her happy self again, and cheers to you for being a friend!
