We're driving through to Zurich on Saturday to catch a show and wondered if anyone can recommend a good family friendly restaurant near the Hallenstadion where we can have lunch?

depends on your budget.

There is a Burger King outside Oerlikon station. If you want something more traditional there are various to chose from. There is a good value for money turkish place opposite the tram depot (actually a Turkish supermarket but with a mini-restaurant in one corner with excellent food for a very reasonable price). Then there are various Italians and also an Asian place in the side streets. If you want to go a bit more up-market there is the Cheyenne or the Tres Amigos, and then a bit more up-market still is the Swisshotel.

Across is Holiday Inn..

If you google map the Hallenstadion area, it's very near Sternen Oerlikon where many restaurants are along Schaffhauserstrasse
