I spotted this Franz Weber hotel on the web, but their site is not updated. We thought of treating ourselves to a meal there, but I worry it might be way too far up our league. Has anyone eaten (recently) there and if yes, what are the price range?

I would simply phone the hotel and ask them to email you the restaurant menu. I've done a lot of events, and we would always do this and then organise a 'set' menu price so that attendees knew what the cost would be up-front. Ultimately, if they want your custom, they should be polite and obliging!

I've just called them (blimey Swiss German sounds nothing like German...I was stretched to the limit and no offer to switch to English!), but I understood that they are closed till 22nd April, so will give it a miss this time!

It is as you said, they are closed until 20th of April - and they opened only exceptionally during Christmass and sometime during February, but was not sure what occassion was this.
