| | | Holy Cow !!
yes, thats it.... Holy Cow !!
On the tail end of a lunch time expedition today thru the deepest darkest parts of the Paquis I came toward Cornavin.. and... discovered they had opened a Holy Cow restaurant ( hurts me to call a fast food place a restaurant but anyway ) just opposite the Hotel Warwick.
I've been meaning to try this place as I've heard good reviews but I try not to go south of the river.... bad crowd over there ya know.
very odd... it's not yet on their locations list...but I know it was there.. I saw it... I did. http://holycow.ch/locations

there has been a shop open in Geneva for some months now, but it's a fair distance from where I work... too far to run to for lunchtime, but this new one is much much closer.
err..................anyone know if they sell beer? |

the one in lausanne (near metropole, there are actually two here though) does sell beer- in fact that local beer dr. whatever(oops edit- dr. gab's )made a special kind just for them (edit again- called 'burger brew'). i haven't tried the beer there yet though, i love the homemade iced tea too much!

I'm a huge fan of the Holy Cow in Lausanne. The burgers are great, and I like their idea to offer free refill of home-made syrups. Yummy!

I work in Les Paquis. I quite like the area. (hmm, that sounded better in my head).

... just back from my first ever visit to Holy Cow.
and I have to say it was good... but nothing to rave about.

Im a fan of Burgers and Holy Cow serve a wide range of them, though you cannot go there to spend a quiet evening as you will be sitting with 10 more people. I recently visited a friend in Lutry near Lausanne. There is a burger bar called Non-Stop, they also have big choice but the atmosphere is more quiet than in Holy Cow. Besides meat is from the local butcher which is quite cool. Yumm |
