If you are looking for authentic indian cuisine then i would definitely recommend Restaurant Tandoor, Schützenstrasse 43, Winterthur.

Pertaining to the OP's question, is it the Best curry in Winterthur? I don't know as it's the only curry I've had in Winterthur but it's certainly very good.

They are the same owners offering almost the same menu as Restaurant Vulkan in Zürich which I always throughly enjoy despite some negative reviews I have seen on EF. In fact, I was there last week and being a repeat guest, was offered 1 complimentary main dish as well as 4 alcoholic drinks (we were a party of 4). Being Punjabi, of course the drink was Whisky  ! | |

I have to report a bad experience with this restaurant:
Overcharging!
The restaurant tried to charge our table the following items that we did not consume:
- 1 1lt bottle of water in excess
- 1 ice cream in excess
- 1 juice in excess
- 1 beer in excess
Can't say if it was intentional or accidental. Just be careful when reviewing your bill.
