Just a warning to others - don't bother.

Some Swiss friends convinced us to join them last night. Well why not, I thought, as I do like my wee dram.

Nightmare.

We went at 7 & it was already pretty busy & by about 7:30/45 all the ships were literally rammed to the rafters. You could hardly manouver let alone get near the tasting tables, and the organizers greed meant that they were still letting floods of people in.
It was boiling hot, sweaty & thoroughly unpleasant, & by the time we decided to get the hell out at about 7:50, it was like manouvering through the front rows of a mosh pit at a rock concert.
We left with unspent tokens as it was quite literally impossible to get anywhere near tasting tables by the time we left.

Real shame, as they had some really nice looking drops to try. The organizers really need to re think how they let people in - a staggered time system or something - anything but what it was last night.

Horrid - not to mention 40 francs each down the pan :-(
