Restaurant for New Years Eve

Hi all,

I hove some unexpected guests coming, so I would like to book some place fairly central, (maybe within walking distance from Bellevue) for a meal before the midnight. I have tried a few, but all seems to be booked already.

Do you guys have any tips?
Thanks!

Try walking down Dufourstrasse from the Opera house and asking in person a few days beforehand; there are many restaurants within a 15 minute stroll

If your guests are from abroad....why not get yourself a raclette grill, a block of raclette, chop up some veggies and marinade some meats to cook on top of the grill.

If you eat at a restaurant on New Year's Eve, the place will be packed, you will get crappy service and pay through the nose for the privilege.

Cheers,

Nick
