I'll be moving around Basel in a few months, I am currently living in Dublin, Ireland, where I started to take some salsa lessons. I'm used to go dancing at least once a week to salsa clubs, but I'm afraid I will miss it when I'm over there.

Would any of u know any salsa club or any kind of place where I could regularly dance salsa? By the way, any of u interested in joining me?

I had a look on the forum, but could just find threads about Zurich and Lausanne...

Welcome to Basel. I am Brazilian and I moved to Basel just a few months ago, I guess this should be a nice place to dance Latin music:

I will be visting Basel soon over the easter break. Can you pls pls help me with any names of good salsa clubs in Basel. Also if you have any suggestions for Zurich / Interlaken pls let me know.

This might be a bit late, but anyway.

Afak there is no club in Basel where you can go dance Salsa everyday. The preciously mentioned "Allegra-Club" has Salsa-Night every Monday (smoke-free), Thursday and Saturday. Besides that there is the "Fame" where they play Salsa every Wednesday, the Singerhaus" on Sundays and the "Kuppel" on Tuesdays.

In addition to that there are always some irregular events and once you get to know some of the frequent dancers, finding out about them shouldn't be a problem :-)
