I know this is asking for a huge amount, but does anyone know if any of these burger places have gluten free buns?
Don't think you'll have much luck there, sorry. I know some burger places in London that offer that, but I think Switzerland is still a few years off from being gluten-free friendly.

I know it is a bit of a drive (albeit with fabulous scenery), but I absolutely loved Rando Burger in St. Cergue! Their Garlic Kiss Burger was my favorite, and I am longing for another one even though I have returned to the USA (which is otherwise known as "Burger Heaven"). Well worth a drive up the Jura to enjoy a fabulous burger-and-fries basket, IMO!
It's a good recommendation, not great IMO but good...I think their fries are quite good, however

In truth, my favorite burgers en Suisse (Apart from the ones I make at home) have been at the spots you'd least expect...A Belgian pub near La Riponne in Lausanne - excellent burger & fritjz and a burger at Comptoir in Lausanne - it was merely a stand but the cook told me they were from a resto in Lausanne, sadly I didn't make note of the name before I ate it...Shame really, it was terrific too

I continue to think the best ones are not likely to be those from expats

Excellent news! How about organizing a Geneva meet-up at one of these? After the recent welcome of our Northern EFer to Geneva turned into a very intimate affair, we need to show that we are not completely unsociable...

Inglewood at Pont d'Arve suits me, as I can scoot round from Meyrin without entering the lunchtime traffic hell of central Geneva.

Any other takers or alternative suggestions?

Why me ? I'm very bad at organizing things.

Anyway, I can't eat red meat for the moment due to my iron level.
So no burgers for me, at least before middle of decembre...

OK; I'll do it. Inglewood on Pont D'Arve or Holy Cow on the Rue de Carouge, 12:30, either next Thursday (31st October) or the following Wednesday (6th November)?
Let me know which you'd prefer and I'll set up an event.

@SuisseRomand, not a valid excuse I'm afraid, Holy Cow does chicken fillet burgers and Inglewood does them as well, also chicken or goats cheese salads.

Are either of these near to the station? It needs to be near the station for me.

I can 't do Wednesday ever but Thursdays are usually good for me. Unfortunately I think I am already busy on the 31st.

Re: Geneva's blossoming burger scene

The next few weeks are business trip and schoolwork heavy for me so I can't, but just a small tip: get to Inglewood at 11:50 or earlier if you want to have any hope of getting a table. They don't take reservations for lunch and it's usually full by 12:05.

ditto.

Thursdays are possible, but not 31st

Edit: if the Geneva Holy Cow is the same than Lausanne, it will be packed at 12h30...

Re: Geneva's blossoming burger scene

The Holy Cow on Plainpalais seems to start to empty around 12:40 or so after the first rush, but at the moment it looks like the next few weeks are out as people are busy.....

I'll wait for a few more comments/requests about preferred days and then try to fix on a date towards the end of November.

I'd love to come along, representing Nordwest Schweiz, but it would have to be a Monday or Tuesday or a weekend for me. Of course, I can't guarantee I'd be as cute as LIB.

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays work best for me.
I'll be representing the far west.

Do you have some ideas in your mind ?

Since I don't work in the afternoon (but on Mondays and Thursdays) I'm open for short train trips... (I love my new CFF/SBB GA)

Re: Geneva's blossoming burger scene

OK, I'll be posting two events in Geneva later on this morning;

#1 Tuesday, 29th October at the Inglewood on Plainpalais, which I understand will best suit SuisseRomand, FrankZappa and 22 yards.
#2 Thursday, 7th November at the Holy Cow by the railway station, which is better for Belgianmum, Mélusine and Gata.
Both at12, meeting in front at 11.50.

I will come to both, it's up to you lot to do the rest!

Having ascertained that I can obtain a day card for that day I could come on Tuesday if somebody who knows the way can meet me at the station to hold my hand and make sure I don't get lost.

I can pick you up at the station if no one else is going by train. My GPS will tell us the way!

Well I could drive down to Lausanne or somewhere near to you and we could go together from there maybe.
I wouldn't drive in Geneva though which us actually pretty illogical really since I drove for years in Brussels and the Geneva drivers can't be worse than that surely.
