Hello, does anybody know a nice bar / pub in Wipkingen? No restaurants, just a laid back place to have some after work beers.

Er, Bahnhof and Kaffee Schnapps? Then there's Escher-Wyss-platz and all the glittering delights. Sary's also a new addition to Nordstrasse, good for breakfast and after work drinks, up in the mezzanine.

Have you tried the Big Ben Westside? It's not too far from Wipkingen, plus will be a good venue for Euro 08, if that's your bag. But if you walk down beyond Escher Wyss Platz, there is plenty of activity.
Where precisely are you working? That could infuence responses.

Hasn't one just opened at Nordbrueke bus stop? I think it's a bar/restaurant.
