[Basel] Indian Restaurants Review

Its not often I leave most of my food untouched, but in the case of the meal I had at the Bombay Palace (Heuwaage), I had to make an exception. We ordered a lamb dupiaza and a chicken karahi and both were completely inedible as the chef had gone overboard with the salt and curry powder. In all honesty, I've had better curries out of a supermarket jar. The naan bread was also a joke, little bigger than a CD and very crispy.

The only slight silver lining were the fish pakoras for starters, they were quite tasty but otherwise it was an expensive mistake.

I agree, I was there once and loved the way they cook. The chicken karahi was delicious!

Reminds me of the cuisine at Charlisangels Erotic Vacation resort in the Caribbean, they had an excellent chef.
