Dear all - does any one know if there are any Shisha / water pipe bars in Switzerland (specifically Basel and Zurich)?

Hookah bars in the Lausanne area? ["smoking bars"] might give you something to start your search. www.search.ch might help too.

None in Zurich as you may expect to find in the Middle East, but the Tea Room, in Kreis 5, will let you schmoke one for CHF17 or so

Here are some results that I've found while searching for "Wasserpfeife Bar Zürich" (you could also try Shisha Bars Zürich). I haven't been to any of these locations:

Hi hi, there is one on Hardbrücke (Zurich). Maybe its anyway one mentioned above. Its somewhere near the movie theater. I believe its next to an imbiss.

I knwo that they have it at Letten.

I think i remember seeing one when I walked to Letzigrund from Albisreiderplatz. That would have been on Badenerstrasse somewhere...sorry, but no idea what is was called. Just saw a lot of people smoking from water pipes.

for Luzern, you can smoke them in the garden at Schuur. I think there's also a place around Theaterstrasse (or nearby sidestree), but it always looks empty.

There is a decent shisha bar in Basel called Harrem (Steinentorstrasse 26)

In the B52 bowling alley in Wildegg Aagau they have pipes.

Basilica is one close to Hardbruecke, and Abaton cinemas...

My favorite is Dune Shisha club, Josefstrasse 29 Zurich. Go once, and the staff will never forget you by name. Always a very comfortable relaxing atmosphere.
