I had the best burger while in Olten last month! This place has a great reputation in Switzerland.

As no-one has mentioned what's available in Schaffhausen, I've got to recommend the burgers in Oberhof. It's thick meaty burger, nicely pink in the middle and served with a generous side of fries.

Has anyone tried the burgers at Wilsons (also in Schaffhausen)? The burger menu looks good - including a one kilo Big Burger. I haven't had a chance to go there yet, but it looks tempting.

As A Indian I love my country food, especially south Indian food.

And when I miss it here, I go to Kobal Cafe in Kanzelaistrasse.

Try Dosai(SouthINidan Rice pan cake ) in this restaurant .... Then you will look for Dosai in every indian place



SOme of you wanted too cook.. I guess cooking is not at all difficult.
now you get the ingredient pretty easily in some INdian shop.
Alos you can get some instant mix dry curry powder along with instructions availabe in these shops. I guesss you can make better curry and rise at home than any shop.
you just need find this shop, I guess there are plenty in zürich.

Wädi Brau Huus in Wädenswil servers a pretty good burger. Comes with fries and a side salad and is very generous in size.
They're also a brewer and the beers good enough to go back for as well.
It's close to where I live so I have been several times, it's always a good feed.

Where does Holy Cow in Lauasanne (chain?) to the other burger shops in Switzerland? I thought Holy Cow was just about as good as Kuma's Corner

I've tried Holy Cow a couple of times, good but not quite on par with the premium burgers one can find in the US...Strange too not to offer soda

Etoile Blanche is also pretty good, and I love their fries. I gave up on Great Escape because they changed to some weird potatoes, which if they want to do properly, should be like the ones at Byblos, who don't have burgers, sorry. But I still like the juicy chicken fingers at Great.

I like Holy Cow at Bel Air because they have good fries, and it is nicer to eat at than the one by Blue Lezard, which had a lot of flies last time I was there.
