Re: Great Food and a night out at Blindekuh

I Was there yesterday and ya.. its totally a lovely experience... I dint fall in love with the food the experience is totally awesome!! Its worth a visit.
I am not sure if the waitress was blind by her behavior but the website says they are blind... Its fun when you don't know what you are eating and you never know the spoon might b empty by the time it reaches your mouth and you crack out laughing....

Re: Great Food and a night out at Blindekuh

When I heard about this place it was packaged to me as "you won't know what you're eating", which I didn't like the idea of because there are certain things I absolutely will not eat for ethical reasons.

but reading this thread I'm now curious if you DO indeed know what you're eating, and you just can't see it.

Could someone clarify?

They have a menu. So you will know what will be served... if you can read braille.

So not even a verbal recitation of the menu from the waitstaff? Or something to read before you enter and take your seat?

How is the order taken?

"Are you ready to order?"

"Um...."

"Ok, I'll come back in 5 minutes"
