Hello All,

Husband and I will be here over the Christmas period, as it is just the two us, I thought it might be nice to go out for a Christmas Day brunch or lunch. And with it being Christmas Day, I would like to go some where a bit special. Some people recommended the Hotel Panarama, so we could go for a walk after, and admire the view etc...

Do you have any other suggestions for us?

I have friends who have stayed at the Panorama and said the hotel was fabulous, but were not overwhelmed by the food.

The Panorama is quite a nice place to stay (nice views, good spa etc),

but I wouldn't bother to trek out there just for lunch.

If you can be bothered to drive to Konstanz, last year we went there as a family, (my husbands auntie lives there anyway) and ate at the golden crown. It was fab, a huge buffet brunch ranging from cornflakes and joghurt, to scrambled eggs, to melon, to oysters, to roast turket, to game meats, salmon, and great cheeses and desert too! Only problem was someone had to drive home!
