| today's Tages-Anzeiger supplement, the zueritipp, ran a tiny item about a take-away place between Hardbruecke and the Helsinki which serves fish and chips, I believe it is here. Anyone know of this place, is it worth taking my long-neglected bottle of malt vinegar down for a try? | |

| I often see that place but I am sure I heard from someone that it is the usual fish nuggets fair they call fish and chips over here - but please do report back if they are proper, or as proper as one can get here | |

A friend of mine recently took over this place and I just had her Fish and Chips for lunch, I think the price is 13 chufs (I got mine on the house). No, they are not "proper" English chip shop Fish and Chips but they are actually pretty tasty and Laura is very much a "foodie" so does try hard, she also does roast beef sandwiches and you can eat there in the garden or take away.
They don't have a web site but they do have a FB page
here. Maybe we should arrange an EF event there one evening?
It's situated just under the flyover in between the Fritag and Prime towers.
