Why I will never eat a curry in Zurich

again...

i know here are many among us that have maybe the same prob as me: lazy-sh!tty in cooking, spending too much money on restaurants and feeling guilty (i do) eating at friends places and no chance of "payback" apart from covering the wine bottles when eating out (again) together. that is why i wanted to have my friends over for a special dinner party and had advertised a job here on EF for somebody to cook for me. i am a big indish curry fan....i wanted to have a 6 person curry. but a good one, not the usual delivery crap.

i ordered a chicken and a veg dish plus raita and naan bread. what i got from corrieorrie was beyond my wildest curry dreams!
shirley added samosas, some onion bhajis for starters. further a red daal, and the topping was some lemon posset with shortbread biscuits as a desert. all home made!!!

i am regularly eating out and i know about quality of currys in Zurich...here is a new definition of it: 10 FINGERLICKIN' GOOD! AMAZING! its the best curry i had, one of the best raitas and the best delivery service (plus a real dummies manual how to prepare all this) i could ever imagine!!! the price was far, far more than fair. i got 5 emails this monday sent by my friends expressing the joy they had eating that curry. my highest recommendations!

many, many thanks again!

if you want a propper delivery service with fantastic home cooked delights for a very good price...heres your new chef!

So, any chance this will go down regular or open a delivery service? I for one would love to taste the meal that gets such praise...!

You didn't get an email from me. I would have sent you one but I wasn't invited.

Glad you didn't *choke*

Good to know someone out there is delivering the goods. Thanks for the heads up, will surely consider her services next time. And may even invite you

Re: Why I will never eat a curry in Zurich

Here I am (corrieorrie) may I just say that flow23 and his friends were a pleasure to cook for.
I enjoy cooking and am a huge 'foodie' I have a huge repertoire of recipes, especially, good home cooking, think of what mama used to make, Shepherds pie, fish pie, casseroles (with dumplings) Toffee apple crumble, bakewell tart, sticky toffee pudding with a warm whisky sauce. etc. etc. all with really good quality ingredients. And . of course, Curries.

I would be happy to do the same again for small groups, or even make a few dishes for your freezer. Maybe you would like to come home to a 'home cooked' meal that only needs to be re-heated? Just give me an idea of what you like.

My Husband worked here for 2 years before my Daughter and I moved, I saw his weight gain during that time because he was not eating properly ,and he looked forward to his weekend visits home . That's all changed now as he's back to eating wholesome meals.

pm me please if you would like me to cook for you.
