I do not know any of them; but think it s a good list to try in near future
Michelin Guide Awards Stars to Nine Restaurants in Switzerland
2009-11-17 08:00:00.0 GMT
By Catherine Hickley
Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- The Michelin Guide today raised one
Swiss restaurant to two-star status and awarded eight more a
single star, ensuring Switzerland keeps its rank as the country
with the highest number of stars per capita in 2010.
The new two-star eatery is Anne-Sophie Pic in the Beau-
Rivage Palace in Lausanne. Pic, who comes from a family of
chefs, is the only French woman chef to have received three
stars, for her Maison Pic in Valence, France.
New one-star restaurants include Le Chat Botte and
Vertig’O, both in hotels in Geneva, and Sankt Meinrad and Sein
in Zurich. Michelin also awarded the first star to an Indian
restaurant in Switzerland: Rasoi by Vineet in Geneva’s Mandarin
Oriental hotel. Seven restaurants lost stars.
Switzerland’s two three-star restaurants kept their
ranking: Philippe Rochat in Crissier, Canton Vaud, and Le Pont
de Brent in Montreux, also in Canton Vaud. Michelin said it may
also upgrade Schauenstein, a two-star restaurant in Fuerstenau
in the canton of Graubuenden, “once it has demonstrated greater
consistency over time and across the entire menu.”
Under the Michelin ranking system, one star means a very
good restaurant in its category, two means excellent and worth a
detour and three stars means among the very best restaurants and
worth a special journey.
Michelin & Cie., the world’s biggest tiremaker, is based in
Clermont-Ferrand, France, and has been publishing dining guides
for more than a century.
The 520-page Michelin Guide Switzerland 2010 goes on sale
on Nov. 19.

Been wanting to go to Sankt Meinrad for many months now but have always been put off by the reliability and design of their website.
To be honest though, the starred restaurants in Alsace are so much cheaper than their Swiss equivalents and only a shortish train ride or drive from northern CH.

Anyone tried this one?
I would make a detour if the food is really worth while.
The problem with Michelin class restaurants (beside the price) is they are very French food focused..common complaint but it is true.

Google is not my friend in this case | | | | | I can't find the new ones listed above on the Michelin website yet : http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/viamich...er/Restaurants
You need to select the town in Switzerland and then under prices, select Best Restaurants to find The Michelin Guide listed restaurants.

We would have been in for a surprise | | | | | Surprised by the quality or surpeised by the prices?
The funny thing about Switzerland is that even mediocre restaurants get away with charging CHF40+ for a main course and CHF70 for a full meal. Sankt Meinrad comes up approx 50% more expensive but I'll guarantee you that it will be more than 50% better and certainly more memorable. The 7 course tasting menu at CHF130 is actually pretty good value.
Of course the prices may climb a little now that the have a star and you won't be able to get a table on Fri/Sat for a couple of months....

Probably will try it out before we head away to the antipodes. That and Caduff's, around the other corner.

The whole going down to the cellar to choose your wine thing is a bit naff and creates rather a transient atmosphere. As far as I recall we had a duff table with a lot of traffic passing by. Food was nice though.
