Well, I can only think that the team reviewed my post and decided to prove me wrong

| Weak link? Who else but Borthwick... I think only an injury will get MJ to change him...
Another concern for me is Easter. I just don't think he cuts the grade at international level. He always appears slow and direct (i.e. no variation) and therefore easy to anticipate and take down. | |

Borthwick had the best game I've seen him play in an English jersey - dominated the line-out, went forward, good tackles and a couple of ball steels, including one in the build up to a turnover and try (from memory).
Easter - drove forward everytime and visibly.
Care - still ruddy-well taking two steps before passing!
Still not sure about the back line. I didn't see that much of an impact, and what there was, was disjointed IMO. We didn't have them too panicked and scored the important 14 points when we had one man up (at least it was a clear foul). When Wales were getting back in the game, I was worried as England had been in such a dominant position but couldn't seem to live with the Welsh as they stepped up a gear... The final try, though, was a great effort, with runners in support and a beaut of a reverse pass by Tait - a rare sight for England fans [
EDIT: rare sight = the runners in support
and the pass

].
Positives:
1) we won
2) we seemed to have a plan
3) we seemed to execute that plan
Now we just have to play well again against the Italians - last time, I seem to recall we were pedestrian. Let's hope we move forward...
The question is, were England bad or Wales good?
