I was wondering if any Suisse Romande residents have found a replacement to the Griot (African bar/restaurant that was owned by and Ivoirian man) that was in Renens until last year as well as the Senegalese-Iviorian Restaurant that was on Rue du Valentin. I badly miss these two African establishments. Any sort of African - especially West African - restaurant, bar, club, concert scene would help!

Yep. It was right on the corner and became a 'spark bar' about 6 months ago.

Yeah, that place was cool. I was sad to see it go. I don't know of any other around like it. If any other Lausanne local knows of anything I'd be interested too.
