I'll be going to Switzerland this weekend for a bit of a romantic getaway with my girl and I'm looking for fine restaurants in Luzern that we can have dinner at. I've seen the menu at Chateau Gutsch and since I'd be paying for both of our dinners (plus drinks) I'd be looking at around $200 USD which is out of my price range.

Any other ideas of good places to go? My girl is vegetarian too so I don't know if there are any good restaurants that cater to her diet.

it depends what you like...

I would definitely go up to Gutsch, if not for dinner, take her for a coffee- the view is splendit.
At the late afternoon/evening I would go for a walk on the Promenade and then dinner at 1871- http://www.1871.ch/

Hotel Montana is also nice for a drink.

I actually decided to make reservations at Hotel Montana's Scala restaurant. They seemed to have a good selection of vegetarian meals.

Any other suggestions of places to go? I like the idea of the Promenade
