St. Patrick's Day - Where's the action?

Finding out where St. Patrick's Day is being celebrated is like finding a needle in the haystack. I've looked at the events calendar for our Gemeinde and Kanton and can't find anything going on March 17, 2010 except for a Krabbelgruppe Treff.

Calling out to EF informants: Where can I find Irish Music or some Irish celebration on St. Patrick's Day, which is next Wednesday, March 17.

Thanks for your info.

Re: St. Patrick's Day - Where's the action?

Actually, I was trying to think in broader terms and have a general list of activites for St. Patrick's Day for all forum members. However, I'm looking for something specific for Kanton Schwyz.

Re: St. Patrick's Day - Where's the action?

Pickwicks in Luzern always do something, I seem to remember they had a really good irish band last year.

There's also Gracie Kellys, another Irish pub in town, but I don't know what they'll be doing.

You can come to Mc Gee's Irish Pub opposite to Bahnhoff Wiedikon, they are doing the Live Irish Folk Music @ 19.30 for St. Patrick's Day. And also win special gifts on that day.... Cheers.
