I want to take my friends to the best clubs with the best music in Zurich... We're students of drinking age and are looking for good *inexpensive* clubs to dance the night away in Zurich!

You can't like everything can you?
I'd look out for nights rather than just venues . . . food sources are Resident Advisor, Zueritipp, the Friday 20 Minute supplement, flyers in bars . . . I've got some less mainstream links, but my URL favourites are at home . . .
A couple more reasonable ones: Abart and Hive.

I want to take my friends to dance clubs with the best music in Zurich...
We're students of drinking age and are looking for good *inexpensive* clubs to dance the night away in Zurich!
Our music taste ranges from all over but I'd say we're looking mostly for clubs featuring hip hop, rap and techno.
Please Help!

Of course it all depends on what you consider expensive.
Being a student I recommend you guys get some <insert drink of choice> go by the lake watch the sunset then head to some of the bars buying mostly <insert cheap drink>. I would recommend some of the cheap and cheerful Nelson, and Lady Hamilton above... and Bling just off Langstrasse. They are all free to get into... and buying a <insert cheap drink> shouldn't be more than CHF8, unless you wanna sober up and dance where I would expect to pay between CHF4-7 for a coke or a redbul.
If you want to pay to get into a club, for dance/house (Amber, Jade, Kaufleuton) will more than wet your appetite. For Hip-Hop/Rap check out Sugar Lounge, and for Techno/Minimal check out Club Q/Hive.
Enterance ranges between CHF20 and CHF30 if you're lucky!

- Cris | | | | | I dont know if you see my reply to your post earlier (they deleted my post because I put the website in here =_____= ) Anyway I suggest you to try Bolero that is near Winterthur HB, it is about 22mins from Zurich HB by train. It is quite famous from the local, a very nice club and they have different theme and music everyday, entrance fee starting from 8CHF, you can google it since i cant provide the link! have fun!

Time to resurrect this thread methinks!
Was at Amber for the first time, in Zurich on Friday night with another EFer (sexie girlfriend, you know who you are  ) and had an absolute blast! From the DJ who spun the latest dance music sounds, the way cool bouncers, lovely coat check girlie, friendly bar staff and other clubbers - ALL were absolutely awesome!
Really nice place and very friendly atmosphere from start to finish.

Inexpensive is something difficult in Zurich.
Check out Kaufleuten, they do some good parties, but not every week
There are quite some clubs around the Hardbrucke area
Also there was a great club called supermarket.

I'm a straight guy, and after i crossed the door and i was like (You surely know why  ).
It is quite small, good atmosphere, good music, but that night air conditioning was not working!!!!!
