Hi, my daughter and i are staying in Zurich for a long weekend, can anyone reccomend any fun things to do?? She is 2.5 years and likes animals, slides and swimming!

Maybe 2,5 is a little small, but you could try the Alpamare. The KinderZoo from Knie should also be open until the end of October (it's in Rapperswil, easily reached from Zürich with S5 or S7)

Animals - Zoo. CHF22 for an adult, free for under 6. At the end of tram 6 (direction Zoo, not the other way). Plenty of animals and playgrounds. No swimming though.

Slides - You can't really go 200 meters without finding a playground it seems, they have them everywhere (even in zoo's see above).

Swimming - Indoor swimming pools..... Only been to one in Dieldorf, but that one had water slide that me and my 3yr went on. There are some in Zurich too.

My niece is 2 years old and her favourite day out is at the Kinder Zoo in Rapperswil. It's tailored to kids so IMO would be more enjoyable for her than the Zürich Zoo. It's really a great place to take kids.

She has so much fun that my mother in law takes her almost every week!

I highly recommend it.
