Does anyone know if there is a good old health food store that has all the vitamins and supplements you would get in a H&B here in Zurich? I know I can order online as have done so before but wanted to go in and check some things out. I was sure that my ex's brother went to a store in Meilen one day when I was with them but he ate a lot of seeds and stuff and maybe that's all they had - I don't recall...

I know there is a store in Wadenswil too but again, it's more of a health FOOD place than a supplements place.

I find the local drogerie (if that is how you spell it) is very good. Not on obvious display but if you ask they usually have it. The name may be different e.g devils claw is called Rheuma Tabletten. The pharmacy is ok but there are things you simply cannot get here. Manor is pretty good and coop do vitamins and minerals. Peters Apotheke off Bahnhofstrasse do a lot of chinese medicine and homeopathy but I didnt stay long enough to find out what else they do. Egli off bahnhofstrasse is pretty good better than others I have been to. Health food shop here means just that - health FOOD and not very many supplements. I can now after two years get what I need here but it took a long time to work out how. My best advice - buy it online from the uk, it is about one third of the price.
