Hi all,

I moved to Switzerland a month ago and will be giving birth in June 2012. This will be my first child so I am feeling a bit gittery anyway, in addition to a new country and lack of fench language skills .

If anyone would be kind enough to recommend good hospitals in the area, and a english speaking doctor I could contact it'd be much appreciated. I have spent a few comfy hours on he couch reading through this forum, and gather that options on pain relief change from hospital to hospital here in Switzerland? I am hoping for one where all pain relief measures are provided.

In the time our two kids were born in the Clinique Montchoisi, Lausanne, but it no longer does childbirths.

My wife had Dr. Janacek and he is tops. I think he can speak English, and he is a top researcher in this field. He is located right below Clinique Montchoisi.

I have heard this doctors name mentioned before, I will certainly look him up.
