BUPA is non profit making & has no share holders.
AFAIK only legally required insurance is 'non profit' here, otherwise there would not be so many companies competing !

I was at the docs a few weeks ago and asked for a full check up, ie, lungs, heart, blood, etc, etc.

he told me that the health insurance dont pay it unless he recommends the check up for health reasons. Just be careful what you ask for because not everything is covered. I would have paid 500-600.- for that if he hadnt advised me

and by the way, if you need to go to the docs so often is it not worth increasing your premium to 500.- or so?
