We recently moved to Zug, and we are looking for a Hausartz/primary care doctor. I am familiar with the booklet of English speaking doctors. But I am more interested in finding a recommendation for a great doctor. Does anyone have a doctor in the Zug area that they are really happy with?

Bumping this thread up in case someone has some suggestions. I'm looking for an English speaking doctor in the Zug or Baar area. Ideally a woman with an understanding of thyroid/hormonal disorders, although I expect that to require referral to a specialist.

Also, is anyone else signed up with Assura for insurance? Is there somewhere I need to call in advance of making an appointment, or is it just a matter of submitting receipts after the fact? I was initially going to go with Swica, which has all the info in English, but that didn't work out!
