Dental filling In Zurich - Need help

Hello All,

I have gone thru many posts, haven't really found exactly to my requirement, hence posting this new thread.

I have got filling for one of my Tooth 8 months back home. this morning a small piece of it has come out and my tooth is now exposed to all food. I want to get this gap filled soon before its brings up night mare to me.

just wanted to know some affordable Dentists place and how much would it cost for just filling for one tooth. My GM insurance is not covering the dental stuff.

my friend adviced me swill-smile.ch but it sounded like a very expensive area.

thanks in Advance

Personally, I find all dentists in Switzerland expensive. There are no 'budget' ones . Now that would be a gold field for Migros...

How about finding out from the dentists if they will be willing for you to pay them off over a few months? I'm sure there will be a few who will help you out.

One option is to try Zannartzentrum which is a chain style dentists. They will still be relatively expensive however most lilely cheaper then random dental surgeries.

Dentists are generally very expensive out here.... However you could visit a dentist near your place for estimation (a visit for estimation wouldnt cost you much). The dentist can give you an estimate once he has a look at the condition...

I would totally recommend practice Heinz Egli in Klosbachstrasse, Romerhof tram stop Kreis 7.
We always use him because his prices are excellent by CH standards & his workmanship is top draw, he is also very "user friendly".
He is English speaking and so are his staff, so you can ask for a quote with ease.
He also offers emergencies & Thursday evenings.

Hope that helps.

Re: Dental filling In Zurich - Need help

I'm trying to locate a dentist in the Zurich area but am thinking about heading to Germany to save on the expenses. But it seems most are choosing to find someone locally. Anyone have pros/cons about going across the border?

Personally, I find all dentists in Switzerland expensive.
Compared to where?

Having wisdom teeth removed was cheaper here than in the US (have had it done in both places, in the same time frame)

I go to this dentist next to Stadelhofen. Swiss prices and worth every penny. He speaks excellent English. The hygienist is American and really nice. Dentists are one of the things I do not go budget on.
