| | | Crystals for electromagnetic pollution/smog
I learned about them from a friend and did some online reading, but apparently there are many of them with different effects.
Two simple questions:
Anyone has experience with such crystals? and if could recommend which type is known to be the best for electromagnetic smog?
Any clue where I could find them in Zurich?
I did a search and found this thread: crystal and stone shop in Zürich
but not sure if the shops mentioned does offer this kind of crystals...
cheers,

i can come and clear your apartment/house for the rest of your life of electromagnetic smog in a few sessions... you just need to pay me 1000chf and no crystals involved. |

The only fool proof and scientifically proofed way to do this is to use granite from the Gotthard mountain. You should use exactly 77.77777 kg per cubic feet you want protect. Its this very unique and special number (seven times seven) combined with the mystical properties of the cubic feet (which can be found in the Pyramids and even Stone Henge) that gives you the maximum protection and confidence.
Best regards.

But she also thinks that New Zealand is a small island off the coast of Scotland. |

Actually, I do have a bit of experience here.
What you need is graphite. And a lot of it. If your apartment has concrete walls and floors, it should be strong enough.
You need to cover the doors, walls and windows with sheets of the stuff.
That should do it.
An easier solution would be to disconnect the electricity and read a book by candle light. | Quote: | | | | | .

Have you checked with your horoscope and walked your stone labyrinth to find out when is the best time to do this? You'd hate to incur the wrath of some druid goddess.

Address: 54 Credabilitystrasse, Zurich.
The shop is located between the church and the homeopathy shop.
When you go in there be sure to ask for the owner Mr Ball........his first name is Gully, and if you mention my username he will give you a 10% discount.
If his crystals dont work, i have a spare Faraday cage i am will to sell...........money transfer will be required via western union.
I hope that helps.
cheers

According to this, you could just buy an F-22 Raptor and live in that.
I'm not sure where you can buy them in Zurich. Have you tried autoscout?

Any clue where I could find them in Zurich? | | | | | Nope, no experience, and there is no scientific basis to suggest that they would work. Electromagnetic radiation is a field - in fact visible light is one form of electromagnetic radiation. Other forms behave in the same way, but with wavelengths too long or too short for our eyes to see.
Let's stick to visible light for now though. So say your laptop or toaster or whatever is emitting light waves (which are a form of electrosmog) and you decide they're bad for your health, need to block them out somehow. You've got two choices, basically: you need to completely cover either the toaster or your eyes with a material that absorbs or reflects light, i.e. a very black or very shiny material. Placing another object (whatever sort of object) merely nearby in the same room does no good. Even if the object is good at absorbing light (in other words "is very black"), all it can do is absorb whatever light hits it. It can't reach out and collect all the light waves from all over the room to absorb them.
Think about it - or better yet, go and try it. What happens if you place a dark object (i.e. a good visible-light-absorber) next to a visible-light source? The object will be dark but the rest of the room will still be lit up. If you want to actually protect yourself from visible light radiation, shielding either yourself or the light emitter is the only way.
It's the same for other electromagnetic fields. Shielding works, and it's the only thing that works.
Unfortunately what makes a good shield for one range of wavelengths won't be effective at all for another range. For example that's why visible light can pass through your microwave door but microwaves can't - why radio can pass through the walls of your house but light can't - and why X-rays can pass through soft tissue but not through bones or lead aprons. So you would have to decide what wavelengths you want to shield against and choose your shielding accordingly. Crystals that you "place near the fuse box" are utterly useless either way though.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Having said all that, if you're still anxious to have a go at the crystals there is an alternative bookshop in the Niederdorf - I can't remember the name but it's on the main street, between the Grossmünster and the Bellevue/Stadelhofen end. I don't know if they'd have them but they might be able to point you in the right direction. (There are also one or two mineral-and-crystal shops up toward Neumarkt but I think they're more on the geological side, ammonites and that.)
