Anyone know of a second hand store for baby's equipment? I'm looking for a better stroller than the one I've got - for an 8 months old baby. Any info is appreciated.

Look for "Kinderkleiderbörse" or at local community centres: GZ (Gemeinschaftszentrum) for Kinderkleiderbörse / Kinderflohmarkt (kids flea markets) events. There's a second-hand shop just up from Römerhof (Tram 3, 8 and 15) and another in the community centre GZ Riesbach in Seefeld (Tram 2, 4) on Thursday afternoons (but not during school holidays). I am sure there are more scattered around the city.

There is a (small) store for used baby and kids stuff near the tram stop Haldenbach. Get off, cross Universitätsstrasse towards the left and walk away from Universitätsstrasse, past the Train&Train store (second hand toy train stuff) downhill. You can see the strollers and the hangers with clothes from the tram stop.

Yeah and the best place to go would be ricardo.ch. We've bought and sold plenty of kiddie stuff there over the years.

Ebay and "other" classifieds sites in Switzerland still tend to have far fewer items on offer. As a quick test I tried a search for "Quinny". Ricardo had 63 matches, Ebay 9.

You can buy and sell almost all second hand baby items (pram, travel bed, potty, shoes, baby toys, activity gym, and clothing at Max und Moritz. They are located at Witikon.

There is also another second hand shop in Kuesnacht Itschnach. There I've also seen stollers, tricyles, travel beds etc and prices are very reasonable. They don't have an internet site. It is located Im Dorfli, Kuesnacht.
