I just moved to Zurich (8032) and am looking for English playgroups of ANY kind for me and my 9 month old in the area...help???!!!

Hi - Kinderhaus Artergut, Klosbachstrasse 25 (that's just off Kreuzplatz, towards Römerhof).

Monday afternoons - used to be just english speaking. Don't know if it's still the same, but the play group definitely still takes place.

Thursday afternoons there is "Mütterberatung", where you can meet new mums and babies, and ask for advice of baby issues.

And - do check out the public play ground / park area behind the house - the Arter Park. It's full of ex-pats and locals alike... great fun!

Oh - and you might want to check out the indoor play morning on Wednesdays (not during school holidays, which is right now until 22.10.07) in the GZ Pflegi at Römerhof. Just cross the road and walk up Klosbachstrasse some more and it's on your right.
There's a good number of english-speaking mums and toddlers there.
