I am a mother of a 1 year old baby girl and am looking for a playgroup/mum-kids group in Neuchatel. Both me and my baby need to make friends as we are new to this town and hardly know anybody. I am hoping someone on this forum can help me out. Why not start a playgroup if there isn't an existing one already?Hope my post will generate some replies

I can't do Wednesday but Thursday afternoon is good for me. How about a nice playground if the weather is good? I was thinking maybe the one in Auvernier or else the one in town, whichever suits.

Thursday afternoon is fine for me - and I am also flexible which playground to meet up at. I prefer where parking is easier..

Maybe Auvernier so. Parking is just next to the playground and easy to get to on public transport too. How does 2.30pm suit everyone. Do we need a backup plan in case the weather is not with us?

That sounds good however I don't know where that playground is. Is walking distance from Neuchatel or do I need to take the train r bus?? I'd really appreciate directions.

Hi,

There#s two options, either the train to Auvernier and then walk down through the village to the lake, it's just there.
Or (easier) the tram that goes out to Bourdry. Get off at Auvernier, the playground is just beside the tram stop.
