Day childcare / Creche in Vaud (Nyon, Gland area)

Does anybody know how to find a daycare in Vaud preferably Nyon / Gland area where I can get place from June 2012 and preferably bilingual?

All public creches have so long waiting lists and are French only

There are a number of private creches in the area that likely could accomodate your child, but please do be aware of the prices. Public creches are subsidised, thus charged depending on your income. Do you require bi-lingual or French? I know one bi-lingual one, but it doesn't have the best reputation. There are perhaps some others that have better quality if that is important.

HI there
have you tried creative kids at signy centre? they are bilingual...infact they used to be trilingual. teaching activities in French, English and German. the woner is a trained psychologist. The staff there used to be really good and my child loved it there. they also operate the garderie so why not pop in and ask if you could get an apt to speak with cori ann neilson?

Our son goes to Interactive Language Center in Gland. We are very happy and he really likes it there. They are bilingual French/English.

Thanks. The problem is a waiting list in most of them, at least public ones. I heard about a new multilingual one opening www.littlegreenhouse.ch in Gland. Does any of you know more about it?

I tried to check Creative Kids website but it doesn't work

i would just go down to the signy centre. their website is always crashing...not reflection on the care and amazing things they do there. The interactive language one is good too. have watch the carers there while waiting for my child to complete her english class and they really are lovely with the children. the manager too...is very professional and has high standards and although can sometimes appear quiete mean to her staff...is good
