Does the medical insurance bill sound right?

I went to schulthess-klinik and spent 20minutes with the Doc. My health insurance company sends me a bill for CHF400

Breakdown of the bill is 300 for consultation and 100 for blood test. 100 for blood test sounds ok but 300 for 15/20minutes of chat? He also used tiny ultrasound machine for 2 minutes.

If you think this is ok then I will let it pass.

If you had gone to a normal doctor, the consultation would have been cheaper, about CHF 80,-- for 20 minutes. The blood test would cost the same.

That sounds about right. I saw a specialist -- appointment was about 30 minutes also with ultrasound, and the bill came to CHF770-.

Depends...if it is between 7am and 10pm, but not lunchtime, then he is free to make some noise. Otherwise, of course quietly, for fear of a note being attached to the coffin.

You may also still be under your annual franchise limit so once you are above that you are eligible most likely to some refund. When this is eligible then you would most likely only need to pay 10%.

Why not just check your insurance or contact them to find out

I will just throw CHF400 out of the window and jump after it to make it a life threatening situation.
