I'm planning to get surgery on my nose (septoplasty) in Switzerland preferrably in Zurich or somewhere close (but also open to other locations if that's where the best doctors/hospitals in this surgical field are).

I'm looking for a good doctor who works for a good hospital/clinic (rather than just a good hospital or just a good doctor who doesn't work in a hospital).

Also, seeing as I don't live in Switzerland and will just be visiting, do you any way I can get this procedure covered by insurance?

What insurance might want to pay for your operation? Have you had an accident for which you are insured, or is this just cosmetic surgery which you would like to have done on a whim?

I'm having trouble breathing because my nose is so bad, so it's necessary surgery and not cosmetic.

However, I have insurance that only covers the country I'm living in and not Switzerland.

I don't know if there's any insurance I can set up to help cover the cost? It's going to be expensive without!
