Need your help on this One. My Date invited me Out for dinner in Zürich last week, is was our fourth meeting! Before we had our dinner he suggested that we share the costs 50:50! I was shocked cause he had invited me, luckily I had some money with me! Is this normal? Does it shows that he's not interested in me? Upto now we never had a kisses apart from hugs which is good for me cause I don't know whether he's feeling the same! Later I called him to find out where I'm standing, only to be told that he needs time to know me, sounded a bit cold! Is this man serious or he's looking for a pal? I don't wanna get hurt!!
Does he dress impeccably, hum or whistle show tunes, endlessly make comments about "how that woman should never leave the house looking like that" and get overly excited at the offer of cocktails??

Not really, probably. He would know by 40 if that was the case. He sounds sort of wishy washy. You'll make the first move, then he'll follow along, and that's how things will go until you get tired of being the Alpha all the time. Or, he might just be an extremely reserved person, at 40, maybe had some heartbreak of his own and is also not looking to get hurt. Whatever the situation, something has to happen soon or just drop it. If you both keep tiptoeing around you'll need to commission music and just start a ballet.

Maybe he is testing you out to see if you are mature enough to discuss relationship face to face as some might say that a 40 year old should, or whether you are the kind of person to discuss them on a public forum instead?
