I have no idea - how much does it cost to get a simple cut and blow dry?

Re: English speaking Hairdressers in Lausanne

Would you know if any of these establishments does hair extensions? I would like to get extensions by a reputable place, but I haven't found any that I really trust. I stopped at one place in Lausanne but I didn't feel comfortable. I thought about getting them in London or Paris but the issue is if something goes wrong with them I can't easily get them fixed. I've never had them before so I want to be sure. I got my hair cut short and my husband hates it

Thanks.

just grow it! take vitamins or whatever you need to get it growing thick and fast but extensions will seriously damage any new growth to the point of having to cut it again. i know that's not answering your question- but i've had plenty of friends who did as you and it was a bad fix...good luck!

Re: English speaking Hairdressers in Lausanne

By the way, I would NOT go to Chez Maxim, which is mentioned many times in this post.
I did go there a few times, but once while having my hair cut, she had a feisty argument with a relative of hers (she has quite a temperament), and really ended up destroying my hair.
It was a while ago and now it sounds funny, but it was quite a mess back then...

Re: English speaking Hairdressers in Lausanne

For everyones information there's a new Toni and Guy opened up in Lausanne, its in the middle of town just by Rippone metro station. English speaking staff, very friendly and good quality.

http://toniandguy.com/salon/information/640

Depending on the stylist, mens cut and blowdry varies from 50-65chf, I had the manager Dino cut mine and was v pleased.

Enjoy!

Re: English speaking Hairdressers in Lausanne

I went to Tony and Guy (Lausanne) last week and I would definitely recommend it if not just because you get a back massaging chair while they wash your hair! That aside, while it's not cheap I am very pleased with my hair and it was a relief not to struggle along in French (normally do but made an exception for my 1st swiss haircut!). Gino (or is it Dino) the manager has moved from Geneva. Apparently he had a lot of ex-pats coming from Lausanne to Geneva so kind of feel I owe him some support...hope it stays!

Re: English speaking Hairdressers in Lausanne

Hi,

Can anyone recommend anywhere English speaking for a standard barbershop type cut in Lausanne for around 25CHF please? So far everywhere is 40+CHF

I am based around the Grancy/Ouchy area so something close by, if possible, would be great.

I had my hair cut really well in Nyon for 25CHF so I know around that price is attainable but I'm not due to go there again anytime soon.

Mike
