No. Public schools in Vaud are French as the dominant language. German is added as a second language near the end of primary.

If you want a bilingual French and German school, there are two in Nyon area, but both are private. Fees are not as high as a english/international school though. There is Mont Olivet in Vich from age of enfantine through gymnase, and Ecole Moser, which starts later (new class of 3eme primaire, I believe) through gymnase.

Littlegreenhouse.ch in gland just outside of nyon. Brand new opened up in mai 2012.
You can choose between english-french and german-french.
My child will start soon in the german-french class. They have got open days in the evening and i liked it so much that i booked her in. You must book your child in for at least three half days or two full days.

Depends what you mean by kindergarten? age 4 and above means school (enfantine level). Previous post was about a creche, ie. below school age, 0 to 4.

If you want german school, my previous post is valid. It is Mont Olivet, bilingual French-German from age 4. I do not believe there is any school teaching 100% German in the area at that age, so bilingual is probably as much German as you will get. If wanting 100% German, you would have to go to the Deutsche Schule in Genf (not sure what age they start).

Alternatively there is German language schools and play for children, like an hour or so a week at places like Abracadabra in Gland, and Chatterbox in Nyon (swiss german).
