I live in Uetikon and am looking for a swimming class for my 4 year old daughter. Unfortunately as I am a full time working mum it must be on a saturday. We have registered for one in Mannedorf but they have a 6 months waiting list.

Hi we are in Uetikon as well, you will struggle to find a swimming class for a 4yo here, they normally want minimum age to be 5yo. Having said that your best bet is in Meilen, our son is just finishing the 1st level new classes start in August after the holidays I think. The advantage of Meilen is the ratio of instructors to students about 1:5, a woman told me her daughter`s class was one instructor for ten students which does not give much 1:1 time in a 25min lesson. Zollikon also has swim classes Sat mornings and I think they will accept 4yolds.

Thanks for the response. We tried the Meilen one earlier in the year and I didn't think they did Saturday classes but will try again. Will also check out Zollikon.

They offer private, semi-private and group courses for kids of all ages. I have a friend whose son started lessons with them on Saturday mornings when he was about 4 years old.

I have heard very good comments about Zollikon.

I second the recommendation for Zollicuda. My son is about to start his second semester with them and I love their teaching style - note that they only take kids from 4 1/2.
