fear not ....your children will rise above all this and make friends with whom they like (and vice versa) regardless of smell, looks , nationality and culture.

I can't comment on kid's smells but scientific research suggests that love happens through the nose. We are attracted to someone's body odour.

Also, I've always found it interesting that the Swiss have a saying: I cha di nüd schmecke (I can' stand the smell of you).

On the other hand, my father-in-law ate a lot of garlic which you could smell in his body odour. I didn't like to be too close to him but I still enjoyed his company.
