Hi parents,
I am hoping to get some ideas on a solution for our baby expected to arrive in October. We live in a small 1 bedroom apartment and the baby will be sleeping in our room. We plan on moving into a 2 bedroom apartment by April 1 since we are only subleasing, so we will need a bassinet or small crib for the baby until she is 6 months old. Is there some way to find a family who can spare their bassinet or crib for 6 months? I posted a "search" listing on Liliput.ch. Any other ideas?

You could put an ad on www.swissmomforum.ch > then go to "shoppingtipps" and post it there. It's for free and the forum is well known in D-CH. Don't worry about your german, write in english if that's easier for you.

Or you could go to a secondhandshop/Börse and buy a bassinet/crib and resell it afterwards. You'll find the addresses here http://www.kindex.ch/kt-zuerich/bez-zuerich I can recommed the "Elki-Kinderkleiderbörse" in 8047 Zurich, it's run by the church and the prizes are low. They also have strollers and childrens books etc.etc.

Our daughter will arrive in Oct (hopefully) and in Jan we will leave Switzerland. My midwife suggest us to use the carry cot (from the stroller) as her temporary bassinet.
