I am interested in finding religious school/hebrew school classes in English for my 7.5 year old. If an established program is not available, I am also interested in finding someone to do some private classes for her in our home. I don't want to go three+ years without my daughter having anything after two years of classes already in the states. Thanks for the help!

I think there is a sizable Jewish community in Zurich, couldn't you go to the synagogue and ask there? Alternatively, our daughter goes to school with several Jewish children, one boy in her class is Israeli and goes to some sort of lessons. If you have no luck at the synagogue, give me a PM and I'll contact his mother to ask her advice. This won't happen until January though, it's school holidays at the moment.

Here is the link to the Jewish Community. You can email the rabbi of the community and ask him where the religious classes are run. He is a nice guy and he'll give you a hand.

The Israelische Cultusgemeinde Zürich and the more liberal Jüdische Liberale Gemeinde both offer supplemental religious educations and spare time activities, should you decide to send her to a public school.
