Looking for english speaking endocrinologist for diabetes management. I live in Oberageri, Canton Zug, but will travel for a well recommended endocrinologist outside of Zug.

She's a competent endocrinologist, and speaks English - although she prefers to do consultations in German.

I was told that you need a referral from a GP in order to see an endocrinologist. Does it work with all endocrinologists or some would see you without a referral? (hence saving one GP visit and costs)

It takes a while until you get an appointment, because he has a quite big waiting list. He is a very good professional, and he case you need, he can do ultrasounds and blood tests. Speaks perfect English.

About the referrall, i don't think you will need it. All i did was call and get appointment (but then again, i had been diagnosed before by another doctor)
